Vessel Chartering is a specialized operation. We offer this service to bulk cargo exportersThe cargoes may be Cement, Steel, Sugar, Fertilizers, Wood, Oil, Bitumen etc. Typically the products are categorized into Dry Cargo and Liquid Cargo. The freight rates are provided based on either Time Charter or Voyage Charter. Freight rates can be different based on the route, quantity, product type, packing and other relevant details such as demand, supply situation for each class of vessels.

Bulk carriers are usually subject to varying environmental conditions and critical port handling procedures.

Typically, we go through the following process in serving our clients:

WEEK 1

a.       You contact us with your request (By this time you have a firm order from your customer or supplier and all the necessary paper work is done regarding the deal or you are looking to close your deal very soon)

b.       We evaluate your request and get back to you to acknowledge and to ask questions for some information when required

c.       You get back to us with the appropriate information and we get to work to find the best rate

d.       We get back to you with the best rate on the market and ask for your thoughts & comments

WEEK 2

a.       You may like the rate and let us know of your initial interest or may make a counter offer

b.       Per your advice we proceed and find the best terms for your cargo (Our interest is to serve YOU through finding the best rates. So we always negotiate the bottom line rates for you with the Vessel Owners the first time you contact us.)

c.       You receive the tentative terms from us and you go through your internal processes (Major Holidays both general and religious are given due consideration)

WEEK 3

a.       You like the terms and we start the necessary paper work (We will ask you for Bank references and any other relevant documents. Freight is always prepaid only)

b.       We both finish the paper work and you sign the CONTRACT OF AFFREIGHTMENT

c.       We will again go over all the minor details so both the vessel and the cargo times co-ordinate

d.       Loading starts and you deposit the freight within 3 business days of loading

e.       We send you a thank you letter for your business
